What a plan states

Each plan is written down, and each of these is a named line in it.

  • The primary development objective, and the pillar it belongs to
  • The specific metrics to improve
  • Training frequency
  • The drills or activities prescribed
  • The standard that counts as progress
  • A review date
  • A retest date

The three things you will actually do.

  1. The plan is written

Each plan states the primary development objective, the pillar it belongs to, the specific metrics to improve, training frequency, the drills or activities prescribed, the standard that counts as progress, a review date and a retest date.

  2. Responsibilities are agreed

Athlete, parent and coach each have named responsibilities in the plan. We agree them in the feedback conversation rather than assuming them afterwards.

  3. The retest closes the loop

The same protocols, run again, on the same surface where possible. What moved, what did not, and what the plan becomes next.
